Social Impact Program Design

Ranging from tailored designed discussion rounds with clients and stakeholders, self-assessment tools to structured Workshops, ICDI develops a critical diagnostic and design framework for Impact Program formulation. Working with identified impact partners and baseline monitoring principles for Impact Program formulation; ICDI assists Clients in ensuring the necessary intelligence, process and validation is provided for designing innovative impact concepts and plans. Through carefully orchestrated impact finance and Grant campaigns involving the growing Donor community and  Impact investors; ICDI assists Clients in leveraging available resources to source the necessary funding for large-scale Impact Programs (Master Impact Program).

S1: Impact Program & Stakeholder Diagnostics

Our impact program essentially has four key pillars; Social, Community, Environment and Governance. Aligned from tailored designed discussion rounds with clients and stakeholders, self-assessment tools to structured Workshops, ICDI develops a critical diagnostic and design framework for Impact Program formulation.  Working with identified impact partners and baseline monitoring principles for Impact Program formulation, ICDI assists Clients in ensuring the necessary intelligence, process and validation is provided for designing innovative impact concepts and plans.  Through carefully orchestrated impact finance campaigns involving the growing community of impact investors, ICDI assists Clients in leveraging available resources to source the necessary funding for large scale Impact Programs.

Our comprehensive Diagnostic Checklist for the Diagnostic study takes into account the key information requirements to analyse the comprehensive existing scenarios, baseline development, understanding of the ecosystem, identification of stakeholders, lessons learned, government initiatives, policies and regulations, engaging donor agencies, support opportunities for Africa. Once the Diagnostic study is done, next step is to design the Project document of the program for the stakeholders.

S2: Impact Program Design and Business Plan – ICDI way

The program with components like inputs, investment quantum with equity and debt, CAPEX and OPEX, return on investment, breakeven and profitability for private sector investment. Also explore the EXIM credit line with the local banks and FIIs, industry policy incentives and regulatory aspects. The business plan should be such designed that on a long horizon it will address and attract private sector investments and on the long run the project should be sustainable without the donor funds and grants.

S3: Partnership and Fund Raising Campaigns

Private sector, donor, FIIs, government and institution and UN partnerships will be the key to designing the result based funding mechanism and fund raising campaigns. Key results will be aligned to the impact outcomes related to SDGs, social impact, environmental impact and other essential components in the program design.
