Ali Ilbeygi
General Management & Social Behaviour
Ali Ilbeygi with over 25 years of professional experience is a veteran in general management and operational processes, leading negotiations and managing variety of projects – having a versatile and holistic approach to each new endeavor.
With his business and psychology background, he has brought people together often being the bridge between different cultures and interest groups. He adds great value to ICDI in understanding the behaviors and demands in a social and community context where differential form of impact for a better life standard can be tailored.
He is a team leader at ICDI in setting targets and leads by example by engaging, motivating and supporting others through developments and changes.
Alejandro Vera Casso
Impact Finance & Business Development
Alejandro Vera has worked over 25 years in several countries with UN Organizations, Development Agencies, Foundations and Governments in promoting impact investments and international business collaboration.
He has worked on impact investment promotion in Africa, Asia and Latin America honing his knowledge further in private sector’s capacity for delivering powerful and sustainable development impacts at the local level.
As a long time practitioner of impact investment for development he has established extensive collaboration with impact investors and non-traditional sources. Alejandro brings to ICDI innovative practices and partnership approaches for large scale and global impact programs.
Javier Diaz-Valdes Alonso
Strategic Planning & Impact Measurement
Javier Díaz-Valdés Alonso is a senior expert with 15 years of experience in strategic planning, monitoring, reporting, evaluation, learning, and results-based management for large-scale, complex initiatives across 20+ sectors, including sustainable energy, economic development, infrastructure, agribusiness, and climate change.
He has worked in Africa, Latin America, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia with various UN agencies, multilateral development finance institutions, INGOs, and global foundations. Javier has developed strategies and results measurement frameworks at multiple levels, including corporate Monitoring and Reporting Policies for UNIDO and UNEP, as well as the M&E Framework for the AfDB’s “Desert to Power” initiative.
He offers extensive expertise in innovative methodologies for development effectiveness and high-level results measurement. Having lived in eight countries, Javier is fluent in Spanish, English, and French.
Debasish Bhattacharjee
Regional Director | Asia – Saarc
Debasish Bhattacharjee brings on board 27 years of cross-disciplinary experience, and network as an adept and versatile communications professional. He has worked with UN organizations, international development agencies and governments to promote socially relevant projects.
He has worked extensively with industry bodies and international trade promotion agencies, to catalyze business within India. Debasish is on the advisory board of select NGOs, and fulfills his strong commitment of giving back to the society by championing social causes. Debasish also dedicates his time to mentor the youth as a nominated Mentor of Change (Atal Innovation Mission), under the aegis of NITI Aayog, Government of India.
Felix O. Ugbor
Senior Advisor for Africa Region
Felix O. Ugbor has been working since 2010 for the United Nations Industrial Development Organization as Senior Development Consultant with emphasis on program evaluation and sustainability. Throughout, he has been contributing to the work of ICD Impact with the focus on the social impact of program activities.
Mr. Ugbor had a distinguished career in the Nigerian Federal Civil Service until 1990, which was followed by a 20-year service at UNIDO, to retire as the Director and Representative of UNIDO to the UN and other international organizations.
First as the UNIDO Representative to Tanzania, then as Chief of Africa Bureau. He served as industrial development adviser, mobilized funds to support program implementation, helped to enhance the capacities of public and private sector institutions, coordinated UNIDO activities and programs in 45 Sub-Saharan African countries especially regarding country needs assessments, the designing of programs focusing on poverty alleviation, trade capacity, energy and environment. It is a privilege for ICDI to have him as our senior advisor for African Regions.
Biswajit Pradhan
Regional Associate | ICDI India
Biswajit Pradhan, brings 22 years of experience in management consulting and advisory. Thirteen years in leadership, project management, team capacity building, stakeholder management, institutional development, knowledge management, entrepreneurship role and fund raising role. Experienced in working on projects with the international development organizations such as UNDP, UNIDO, FAO, The World Bank, DFID, CIDA, Government, Private and None profit organizations.
He has gathered vast experience in the sector and areas which include; Clean Cooking Solutions (Africa and India), Policy Study and Recommendations, Reforms (Rural and Urban), Governance, Public Private Partnerships (Urban development), Power (Energy and Renewable), Environment, Climate Change and Sustainability, Communication and IEC, MSME Entrepreneurship development, Start-up enterprise development, empowerment and incubations’. In his entrepreneurial journey he ventured a Value added services on Telecom sector, Food delivery, Dairy industry, and supports ventures engaging in municipal solid waste management and auto detailing with least water using steam.
He is a Founder and Co-leader, managing a Global Volunteer Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Network in India, EvalYouth India. Young and Emerging Evaluator (YEEs) capacity building through multi-stakeholders engagements at national, regional and global.
K. Harish Kumar
Regional Associate | ICDI India
Harish Kumar brings over 6 years of experience as a CSR professional in a ‘Navratna’ PSU in India, he has engaged with various stakeholders, including district administrations, MPs, MLAs, village heads, NGOs, and civil society organizations, gaining expertise in designing, planning, and evaluating public policies. He is currently pursuing a Master’s in Public Policy at the National Law School of India University, Bangalore, and has training in Evaluating Social Programs from J-PAL, South Asia.
Passionate about CSR, Monitoring & Evaluation, Social Impact, SDGs, and Social Stock Exchange, he has conducted baseline surveys, need assessments, impact studies, and implemented CSR activities such as building social infrastructure, supporting elderly homes, medical camps, skill development, blood donation camps, and COVID-19 relief measures.
He has interned at BORDA – South Asia, DevInsights, and Athena Informatics, working on FCRA regulations, funding mechanisms for NGOs, and evaluating the impact of schemes under RKVY – RAFTAAR in Karnataka.
Jorge Ramallo
Latin America Advisor & Associate
Jorge Ramallo has extensive experience in strategic and financial planning, risk assessment, public-private partnership’s innovations. He has been involved in corporate consulting and managing investor relations. Jorge has worked in different areas during his career, including a variety of public and private institutions in the telecommunications, aeronautics, international organizations, and mining sectors.
Having an MBA in finance, Jorge’s professional work now includes taking senior positions in the public sector of his country, managing to pave the way for the application of new investment modalities through PPP’s in addition to extensive collaboration in policymaking and support with international organizations for finance and investment endeavors. He has developed the initial steps for the implementation of new projects both at a municipal and national level, with main focus in areas of impact investments; such as solid waste management, agribusiness, logistics improvements, efficiency of public lighting as well as development of airport management projects.
He is convinced, that sustainable finance and responsible investment are the focal points to find the appropriate solutions to our current social problems.
Jaswinder Kaur
Social Innovation & Entrepreneurship
Jaswinder Kaur is a Professor in the Business, Management & Entrepreneurship program in the School of Business at Algonquin College, Canada. With MBA from University of Ottawa, Canada and a graduate of the Frankfurt Business School with specialization on Climate Change Finance.
She has also over 20 years of industry experience in international business development, sales and marketing, and operations in both private and public-sector organizations.
Skilled in entrepreneurship development, social innovation, SME and venture capital financing, with a specialization in the sustainability sector, Jaswinder has advised government and public institutions in the area of policy development around low-carbon economic growth policies and entrepreneurship pathways. Since 2008, she has been a consultant with UNIDO (United Nations Industrial Development Organization – headquartered in Vienna, Austria) in several Asian and African countries. In her capacity as a founding member of Venture Coaches, a $50M seed and early stage fund in Ottawa and through a number of senior executive roles, Jaswinder has advised thousands of entrepreneurs in the area of business planning and fund-raising. Jaswinder has also worked with a number of Canadian telecom, cleantech and software firms to develop their partnership and export market strategy in South Asia – leveraging her global business experiences and network. Jaswinder has a key role for ICDI in the Entrepreneurship Ecosystem.
Leticia Browne
Country Advisor & Associate
Leticia Browne has had an exciting career spanning across a number of sectors. She has over 15 years’ experience in business development, relationship management and management Consulting. Relocating to Ghana she works for PWC where she played a role in developing a product line for SMEs closely with banks to understand the core issues at hand such as the challenges in raising capital, skills gap and issues preventing growth.
She had sat on the Investment committee for Solidaridad West Africa Palm Oil Project and GhanaVeg an initiative of the Netherlands Embassy and currently she serves on the Investment committee for Nkosuo, a $15m Covid Relief fund for MSME and SMEs. Leticia ran the Ghana Angel Investor Network, connecting early-stage businesses to high net worth individuals and has raised in excess of 700K.
She currently plays an active role in supporting the Accra Angels network. In 2020 through her organization, Intelligent Capital, Leticia worked with GIZ to produce a publication, An Entrepreneur’s Guide to Investment, which is a reference point for early-stage businesses in Ghana. As one of the pioneers in the entrepreneurial ecosystem in Ghana, Leticia is often engaged to support initiatives such SEEDSTARs, Kosmos Innovation Centre, Ghana Climate Change Innovation Centre, Unreasonable Labs, British Council
DUAPA Challenge.
Soulamane Konkobo

Soulamane KONKOBO is a strategist, business consultant and a trainer. He holds a Research Masters (DEA) in Business Management, a Master’s degree in Marketing Management obtained at the Cheikh Anta Diop University of Dakar and at the Higher Institute of Management of Dakar (ISM), and several other training certificates of which a Graduate Study and Professional Development certificate taken at Boston University as a Fulbright Fellow.
He was a teacher at the Higher Institute of Management of Dakar (ISM), a Marketing Manager of SOFTNET Burkina, and Operations Director and shareholder of 2M Invest Consult (a consulting firm specialized in investment project support). Since April 2016 he is the Chairman of Burkina Business Incubator; he is also the Founder & CEO of Summum Consulting Group since 2019.
Soulamane is highly interested in economic development, entrepreneurship, innovation, industrial development, and community services.
Today, he works mainly through Burkina Business Incubator and Summum Consulting Group to develop the spirit of entrepreneurship among young Burkinabè and sustainable companies as an answer to unemployment and poverty.
Ricardo Michel

Ricadro Michel is a specialist in International Relations, Energy, and Planning, he has developed his career working on building up international businesses, internalization of companies, negotiations, and in energy and hydrocarbon-related fields. He worked in the private and public sectors and has more than 15 years of experience, with international, regional, and multilateral organizations, due to his work in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bolivia, where he was responsible for Bolivian’s relations with the Andean Community, MERCOSUR, ALADI, among others. Likewise, he specialized in the energy sector, becoming General Director of Exploration and Exploitation of Hydrocarbons in current Bolivia’s Ministry of Hydrocarbons and Energy.
He was the chief negotiator in Competition Policies and trade defense in the Andean Community-European Union’s trade agreement negotiation and the Bolivian trade agreement with El Salvador.
He developed legal regulation, both at the national and international level principally on international trade, sustainable development enforcement, and energy.
Furthermore, Ricardo firmly believes; to get results every actor and stakeholder must be engaged in the main objective, in this regard public and private sectors need to bond and work together to achieve sustainable goals.
